Hollingsworth Campmeeting
Mountain View Baptist Church with other area churches sponsor a campmeeting the first Monday through Friday in October of each year. This years meeting was held on October 6-10. It was a great success. God blessed amazingly in this meeting! The campmeeting had been held in a renovated chicken house. This year we moved under a tent supplied by Bro.Duane Moore.
This years meeting was blessed to have great preaching all week. Preachers included Bro. Ron Groce of Winston-Salem, NC, Bro. Shane Jenkins of Clarkesville, GA, Bro Tommy Seay of Blairsville, GA, Bro. Mark Stroud of Murrayville, GA, Dr. Wayne Owenby of Seirville, TN., Bro. Zane Fishel of Mount Airy, NC, Bro. Duane Moore of Villa Rica, GA, and Bro. Tommy Holder of King, NC. On Thursday and Friday of this years meeting we also held morning services and called preachers from the floor.
We had The Singing Echoes with us this year as well as singers from our local churches to form a Campmeeting Choir.
